Fun in the Snow!

Shaun and Brooke invited us over to go sledding. We just walked next door to their house and there was a huge hill all to ourselves that we could sled down. Ammon enjoyed the ride down and then started screaming when we stopped. Shaun said that he probably held his breath the whole way. I didn't think about that. It was a short, sweet and straight to the point sleeding trip. Then we went back to their place for donuts and hot chocolate. What a fun day!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

More fun in the snow. Ammon didn't mind the cold but he doesn't like to be laid down!

Christmas Morn

Havin' fun Christmas morning. We went up to the Johnsons to have some wonderful egg casserole and delicious pull apart bread. Good thing I wasn't on a diet! The snow was perfectly moist for the kids to build 'Godzilla' and we all got in a snow fight.

Christmas Gifts

Bethy with Ammon on Christmas morning, a Christmas miracle on my fuzz roller, Buzz and Brindy. My mother wouldn't stop asking me if I had cleaned my sweaters with my new fuzz roller and I couldn't figure out why. I guess I don't take a hint very well. Thanks mom for the wonderful suprize!

Auntie Tessita

Auntie Tessita came up for Christmas break and we had so much fun with her. She is the best aunt and will be the best mommy some day. Ammon loves his Auntie Tessa and Auntie Krista.

Ho Ho Ho

Merry Christmas to Darren

Wayne did a great job on this holster for Darren for Christmas. I think it's beautiful. Darren is excited to go bunny hunting with his gun on new years. Thanks Josh and Krista for helping me!

Auntie Tessita

Auntie Tessita came on Friday to visit for Christmas. It was so fun to have her there. She is such a wonderful Aunt and is so good with the kids. She will make the best mommy some day!

Nativity

This was a blast watching all the kids perform. Grandma Johnson would be proud.

Traditions

Every Christmas Eve we open one present. Since we weren't going to be at mom and dad's for Christmas we got to open a present on the 21st. Mom gave all the girls sun glasses from Mama Mia and then we watched the show. Usually we watch White Christmas but Tanya hadn't seen Mama Mia. We always make mom's famous sugar cookies and we made a ginger bread house as well. We never got around to decorating the cookies but the house sure looks good! Notice the lady in charge of the house with a very large hay pick! When we got home (after being delayed from the pass being closed) we went to the annual Johnson Christmas eve party. Darren looks forward to eating the beer marinated turkey all year long. I have to say that it is VERY delicious. Ammon was santa AND baby Jesus. We couldn't be prouder parents. He looked so adorable!

Teddy

Ammon loves his Teddy. I learned the other day that the first "teddy" bear was named after Teddy Rosevelt. I didn't know that before.

Santa Claus Came to Town

Didn't get very good picture of kids on Santa's lap but atleast we got to see him very first and didn't have to wait in line! None of them cried. It was so nice!

PaPa, MiMi, Skeeter, Buzz and Blossom

We had lots of fun with all the grandkids at papa and mimi's for their ward Christmas party!

Uncle Joshy and Twins

Uncle Josh is so cute with the kids. He is such a good daddy and uncle!

My Big Boy

Ammon does NOT want to sit back or lay down any more. He loves to sit up and stand. He is constantly chewing on everything and is always so happy. He loves his rocking chair but it won't rock anymore when he won't sit back.

Bethy Babysitter

We are always so grateful for our spur of the moment babysitters. I'm not use to planning ahead for a babysitter yet. Thanks Bethy and Grandma Johnson for always being so willing to watch Ammon!
