Ammon's Hospital Birth Picture
I was able to find Ammon's Hospital Birth picture. Look at those chubby cheekers! He has grown so much in the last 10 months! We didn't buy these pictures because we had so many of our own pictures but most of them included a bunch of cords and monitors in them because he was put in the NICU several hours after this picture was taken. I just love how peaceful he looks here after going through his birth. Here you can see his cone head. My mom freaked out when she saw him right after birth because she's never seen a cone head baby before. All the births she's been a part have were c-section and all the babies had perfectly round heads. Ammon's head rounded out suprisingly fast. Bodies are so amazing how they can adapt and change based upon our needs!

The 4th of July

We spent a good part of the 4th of July up at Porcupine Dam hanging out and chasing snakes on the shore. We found out after we got there that there is a good cliff to go cliff diving just on the other side of the lake. So next time I'm up there I'll have my swim suet and a life jacket to swim to the other side.
Later that night after we went home and took a good nap we went to the park to play. Ammon didn't really like the spiny toys (me and Tyeanna made ourselves sick having so much fun on them) but he loved the swing, we would swing him high and he would squeel and giggle. This is his scrunchy-nose face that we've been trying to get a picture of for months.
I had a really bad incounter with one of our neighbors a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday I found out where she lives. Her name is Poison Ivy, and by the time I get through with her she won't be bothering anybody. It started out when I found a really ichy rash on my leg, lucky for me I barely brushed the leaf. I tracked the plant down to the pond where me, Ammon, and Kathorine went fishing. I'll diffenetly be keeping my eye out for any more, that is a plant I don't want to mess with again. -Darren

It's A ???
We had our ultrasound yesterday and Darren found out what we are having but I did not. Based on the pictures everyone should vote and we'll see who's right. The only person Darren has told is Ammon. Aren't the pictures so cute!

We have had a visitor this week, my niece Katherine came up to stay with us and enjoy the wonderful Logan area. This is her and Ammon fishing at the pond that is also in our backyard.

This is the horse track that we look at every time we look out our windows. On the other side of it is the zoo and the pond, all within just a few minutes of walking.
Ammon's new sport is stair climbing, especially when you aren't looking. He has only tried to fall once or twice, but he was in good hands. He doesn't quite get the going down idea, but he will.
Tyeanna is definitely pregnant. I will be finding out what we are having in about a week. Tyeanna doesn't want to know what it is but I do, so I'm going to find out and she isn't. Don't worry the secret will be safe. Monday, June 8, 2009
Tyeanna is slacking, so I (Darren) am going to update things a little around here. First of all, we are now Loganites. Changing wards of from a yuppie upper class Lindon to small town Logan was almost jaw dropping different, but wonderful. The day we moved in I could have sworn I heard an Owl, the next day we found out that there is a zoo about 100 yards from our house. So now every night I sit and listen to the peacocks, and during the day I watch the horse riders on the horse track right behind our house. Ammon still isn't sure what to think about our new place, although he loves to climb the stairs. He still hasn't figured out how to go down them yet. He is sooo funny because he can pull himself to his feet now, and when he gets giggly while standing he starts to fall and do the splits or straddles and laughs even harder. We can't keep the little guy out of anything any more.
We love it here, but we miss every-one at home. Tyeanna is doing awesome. We have found some cool camping spots if anyone is up to it.

Pictures Below
We went to Bear Lake for a weekend in April so Darren could check out the college and we could look for housing. Tessa showed us around the neighborhood and hooked us up with a great tour of the Wildlife Resources department. The pictures below are from our condo in Bear Lake. Ammon was crawling on his tip toes like he use to do. Now he is crawling more on his toes, knees and pulling himself with his arms. The second picture is of his adorable swimming trunks that Mimi game him for Easter. We had to try them out in the pool even though it was snowing outside. Ammon liked the water but didn't like all the noise from the other screaming children. The last picture is of Darren reading some funny emails. He had his mom and Grandma rolling on the ground and they were all crying from laughing so hard. I just sat back and laughed at them. It was hilarious. We had a great time!
Buddies
My friend Sheana had a baby just a few months after me. Can you believe the difference in size!! Her baby is a squirmer and so active. I thought Ammon was an active baby but not compared to him. I think it's fun to see how chunky Ammon is here compared to Brennan. Brennan had a fun 'jumper' car that Ammon just loved!
