Dad in Afghanistan
Dad left for Afghanistan yesterday. He has been gone for over a week. He had several classes to attend to first and then he left last night at 10 pm Eastern time (I believe) for Afghanistan. He'll be there for 6 months! I can't imagine being gone for so long. I am proud of him for going and serving there. I know that his services and talents are appreciated and so badly needed there. Although we all want to be selfish and keep him here with us at home (where we know he is safe), he is doing a good thing. I hope he knows how much I love him. I know that my dad would do anything for me and I hope he knows that I would also do anything for him. Sometimes as a child I feel like there isn't much that I can do to repay my parents for everything that they do for me. How do you express gratitude for the many countless hours of service and love, the sleepless nights and the sacrifices that they have made so that you can live a better life? I believe it was Elder Holland that spoke today in Conference about his parents that sacrificed their time and money so that he could serve a mission and go to college. My parents have done the same for me so many times in my life. They spend their time and their money serving their family and the people in the church and I am so grateful for their examples. I love you dad and I pray every day that you will return home to us safely!

Jaylie Bug's Birthday
It was Jaylie's birthday and Josh and Krista came down to Grandma Warnicks. It was the greatest party! What a cutie! She didn't want to stop hitting the pinata. She's got a good arm on her!
Happy Birthday Bug! We love you Jaylie Bug (and we love your parents too)!

California Adventures
Summer Reunion
Here is the awesome pinata that I made. Isn't it cute! It made it all the way through all the kids beating it HARD and some of them got to go twice. The rope broke before the pinata did.

More Pictures to prove that I do exist
I'm usually never in the pictures but I have a few with me in them and so I thought I'd better post. The above is a picture that Uncle Lance took of Alivia with his cell phone. Isn't this cute! She's just lovin' that spatula! I love that Grandma Johnson is in the background doing my dishes! Thanks so much for slaving away when you're suppose to be on vacation!
I was trying to crop out the random arm but couldn't figure out how to get the edited picture on here. I still have lots to learn about this blogging stuff. Anyway, it's a cute picture. Just ignore the arm Tanya. This is Bethy, Alivia, Boss man and I. What cute cousins they are!
Holding Ammon on the boat ride. He was holding on for dear life and I was lucky to be able to get him to hold still for a picture. He was berried in my shoulder most of the time.
Ignore the messy room but I love this picture of me with my babies. I just love them to pieces! don't know what I'd do without them!
Picture Update
I haven't posted forever. These are all random pictures. This one was of some pictures I found on the camera that were never uploaded. Alivia has grown so much since this picture! She grew out of this bassinet at 3 months.
4 generations! So cool huh! Ammon and Alivia still have 3 great grandmothers and two great grandfathers. So lucky!
Ammon's first fishing trip. He didn't like the boat ride too much and got bored really fast. Lance threw in a bobbin and Ammon got mad because he threw the 'ball' in the water. We hooked one to the fishing pole and let him throw it in and pull it out of the water. He enjoyed that until he started going crazy whip lashing the pole and I took it away.

Alivia a few months old. She loved the binkie but prefers her thumb now.

What cutie pies! This was on 4th of July weekend after church. Ammon was exhausted if you can't tell.
Don't remember when this was taken but it sure is a cute picture of kids with Grandma Johnson!

G&G Johnson came for 4th of July. Uncle Lance also came and we had a great time with them! Went to porcupine dam and threw rocks (bolders) in the lake and just hung out. Good times.
Alivia at the yard sale that I made $4.00 at in 5 hours. She's crawling all over the place and mimicking Ammon's every sound. Such a happy baby all the time!
My sweet pea sitting up so good.
Ammon's first fishing experience. He loves the outdoors. He's never happier than when he's outside by the water.
